Vanessa Hailey is requesting your help... She has a TALL order in front of her! Her goal is to provide each of the 2500 athletes participating in the 2011 Special Olympics Washington State Winter Games with a hand knitted scarf! WOW! That is a lot of knitting... makes my fingers hurt just thinking about it. That is where you come in. Are there any knitters out there? We are putting a call out for knitters so if you are a knitter... or you know someone who is a knitter, here's your chance to MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Please join me in helping make scarves for the 2011 Special Olympics Washington State Winter Games in March 2011. They are expecting 2,500 Athletes and our goal is to be able to give each Athlete their own handmade scarf. Scarves need to be approx. 5" wide by 55" long either crocheted or knitted. The colors are Red Heart Super Saver Cherry Red and White. You can use your own pattern or use any of the patterns listed.
