For 36 years, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC, Inc.) has been working to improve the health and well being of children – touching over 4 million children worldwide every year.
While Ronald McDonald House Charities cannot make medicine taste better or take away painful treatments, they can help lessen the burden and ensure more than 4 million families a year have the stability and resources they need to keep their child healthy and happy. RMHC believes that families are stronger when they are together, and their presence helps a sick child heal faster and cope better.
They strive to be part of the solution to issues challenging families today. Families are challenged with how to stay near and support a hospitalized child, how to afford staying together in another city while a child is undergoing treatment, or even getting basic medical and dental care in underserved communities. RMHC uses their resources to help families gain access to health care services during critical points in their children’s lives
